Vertu Motors Land Rover Bradford

Having been a loyal customer of the canal road branch for 17 years (before they even moved to their current location) I've had to deal with them mailing me a video with their employee shouting "your cars a piece of **** mate" down the microphone. They have handed my car back scratched and dented with the excuse "it's a live working environment, sometimes these things happen" (but not enough for them to actually own up to doing it until I pointed it out to them), however I put this garage on notice that one more bad experience would be my last time there having paid for a service, turned to to find that the large price they had quoted me was actually only the base fee and if I actually wanted a full service I would need to pay a load of extra money.. They then having coughed up this money proceeded to hand me back the car with out a proper level of coolant in the vehicle and the breaks not connected properly so the vehicle failed to stop when exiting onto the main road!!! (almost resulting in a horrible accident!!!). When I took it back to complain, they then tried to charge me for the service a second time... Having fixed the breaks they then lied to me that the coolant level was actually sufficient and blamed it on a faulty sensor, until I took it to a different garage that confirmed it was actually low. however the final straw after all of that was when I ordered some new tyres. After waiting a month for them to have a slot to fit them and asking on the phone if the value they had quoted me was the "full price including labour" I was then when arriving at the desk offered the option of paying only an extra £120 pounds so that once they had fitted them they would check that they had actually put them on straight (optional of course!), oh and if I wanted them to check why they hadn't put sufficient coolant in the vehicle during the service, they could look into that for another £200 for me! The Guiseley branch is only a short drive away, go there instead of what has unfortunately after being a great garage to go to for 16 years has become a money grabbing untrustworthy joke! If you value your money, your vehicle or more importantly your life, find somewhere else to go.. They may answer this review saying they are sorry to hear this and will try to make improvements. Feedback was provided privately to them last time and they clearly listed to and acted on none of it, becoming in fact even worse so don't believe even the slightest bit of failed PR they might mistakenly attempt to do below! Had to rate one star as lower scores were not available.. believe me, they failed to earn the one they have here!!!
