Harveys Car Centre Scaynes Hill

Awful service. My gfs car was bought at 36k miles, after a full service 4k miles later we're told the gearbox needs a complete rebuild and there's also issues with the timing belt (after 40k miles is unheard of) and the suspension. This is despite harveys "fixing" the suspension issue we had to raise 2 days after owning the car! They now say it's nothing to do with them. The owner sat infront of us when buying the car and said any issues, even out of warranty (the car is still in warranty) they would help us as we know the family. Today on the phone they refused to entertain any of the issues and we're now having to seek a gearbox specialist to prove the issue was there 6 months ago when we bought the car. We are also having to open a claim with the Motor Ombudsman. We chose Harveys as we know the owner and his family and thought we'd be looked after. We're so disappointed in the company, the service and the people there. If I could give it '0' stars i would.
