Wanted to buy a BMW M240i Cab from this car dealer as they just beat me to an advert on Autotrader. So I rang them to see how much they would sell it onto to me? I explained that they had just beaten me to the car and that the owner told me exactly how much they had paid him, granted car dealers need to make a profit like everyone else! theirs me thinking nothing needs doing to the car and that I would take it exactly as it is? thinking maybe £1000ish? maybe a tad more? So I offered them £1000+vat + any out of pocket cost? £1500? again nothing needed doing with the car, not a bad profit for having a car in a few hours? quick turnover? the car's under manufacture warranty so no added cost for the dealer? The car is now being advertised at a whopping £4000 on top of what they had just paid? no wonder the Dealer didn't call me back with a figure? pure Greed in my personal opinion. Anyone thinking of buying from these guys please take note of the extortionate margins they work to unless you're happy in knowing you might have been ripped off?
