This is my objective view of dealing with this company. I initially bought this car from JMC and, at the time, they said that it came with a 3 month warranty for engine, gearbox and major components, so I was happy with that. As has happened to other reviewers, I went to pick up the car, a week after the sale, and and it had not been cleaned or prepared. No biggy, but not a good reflection on the company.
Less than 2 months into the 3 month warranty period, the car developed a major problem. I went to JMC immediately and told them about it. The owner told me that the fault wasn't covered under the warranty (even though I was told originally that those kinds of faults were) and then blamed me for causing the fault. That's not good customer service and inspires no confidence in the company, in my opinion.
Unfortunately, I will now have to fork out to fix a problem that I was assured would be covered under JMC's warranty. This makes their 'warranty' useless and the word of those who work JMC worthless.
In my opinion and experience, and if I were you, heed this cautionary tale and do not be tempted to buy a car from this company. You may well save yourself pain and heartache, in the long run.
