Vehicles not fit for purpose, dealership refuses to follow Consumer Goods Act
Having purchased a vehicle from Quarterbridge cars, I would never recommend them to anyone.
The vehicles are checked over by their local technician who fails to identify and resolve common faults, and the cheapest tyres possible are put on vehicles that need them to pass an MOT.
If a fault does occur with your vehicle, be prepared to have an uphill battle to get them to understand what the fault is or pay any attention to your complaints - expect to be fobbed off a few times until you resort to the wording official complaint.
Once this happens, be prepared for them to completely ignore their rights under the Consumer Goods Act, deny that they authorised a repair, and then when asking to return the vehicle - get offered £3,000 less than you paid for it 6 months later when used car prices are still at an all time high!
They have been reported to trading standards, and my only recourse now is probably to seek legal action.
