Bunch of rip off merchants. I bought a 2013 Mini Countryman from them and within the warranty period the engine had ceased and needed replacing. Was given 4 months warranty but the criteria for replacing the engine under warranty would cost £11.5k and warranty would cover £5k of this. Repairs of £6.5k on a £5k car is unacceptable. I'm in the process of taking these cowboys to court under the Consumer Credit Act. Steer well away from these guys. Rude, unethical and crooks.

Disappointment with Pre-Delivery Checks and Ongoing Issues (Freelander 2)
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent experience I have had with your company. I now notice I am not alone.
Initially, I was pleased with the service provided. However, my satisfaction quickly turned to frustration upon discovering firstly the disc covers were lose but even worse the tracking rod nuts were also loose, then the engine light came on, when accessing the computer logs, the fault codes in the car had been cleared prior to delivery. As a result, the fault reappeared after it had a chance to reset itself, indicating inadequate pre-delivery checks.
After much discussion with Naz in your team finally agreed to replace the faulty part and allowed me to arrange for its installation locally at a price I had obtained. Despite this, I believe it should have been your responsibility to handle the logistics, considering the fault originated from your end.
On Tuesday, I was informed that the part had been sent. However, it is now Saturday, and despite numerous calls, I have yet to receive a return call with the tracking number or any proof that the part has been dispatched. This lack of communication leads me to question the sincerity of your assurances.
It is evident that the fault was initially disguised, and I am now caught in a cycle of attempting to obtain confirmation that you will honour your commitment to ship the part. Although Naz has been promising to return calls and ensure actions are taken, there has been no follow-through.
This entire situation has left me extremely dissatisfied with your company. It is regrettable that if proper pre-delivery inspections had been conducted and transparency maintained, you could potentially have a well-regarded business.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and take immediate steps to rectify the situation.
