Great at sale, appauling aftercare
We were shown around the vehicle virtually by Harley (boss' son), agreed a price, picked up the car from Les (owner/boss). All was fine, but there was told there was no AA warranty as stated on Autotrader, but Les told us if we have any issues, just to get a quote locally, as we are 100 miles away and he will pay for the repairs.
A month later we realise the air conditioning is not working (bought vehicle in winter, where we were assured by Harley it was working). Looked into this, to find the fuse for the A/C had been removed and the system had no gas in it.
Rang Laurels on at least 6 occasions, each time to be told someone would call me back, but received no call. Left an email with Harley no response. Left a message on the online form, no answer. Eventually got through to Harley once he was back from one of his many holidays, after several more calls, he asked me to get quotes. After ringing every company that does re gassing in the area, the best price I could get was £100. Harley eventually agreed to pay £50 by text.
Took the vehicle to be re gassed, only to be told there was a break in the pipe, the repair and re gas were to cost more than £260. Texted, called and emailed Harley and got no response other than his Dad was not around. Sent a final message, email and message on site and over 2 weeks later still no response.
In summary I have received nothing for the £260 repairs to our vehicle, not even the £50 promised.
Have complained to Autotrader, Trading Standards and my bank and still nothing from Laurels.
