Gordon Ramsey was seen cruising through London on Saturday night in a rare £2 million Aston Martin, adding yet another gem to his £4.5 million car collection.
The celebrity chef, 58, is a well-known car enthusiast and now owns one of just 38 models of this exclusive vehicle—the first of its kind in Europe. Ramsay arrived in London’s Mayfair in the sleek white-and-red-striped supercar, dressed casually in grey jeans, a black jumper, trainers, and a gilet.
The 74-plate Aston Martin is valued at over £2 million and is described as “the most extreme front-engine road car ever built” by the manufacturer. Equipped with a powerful 745-horsepower engine, the car is just barely road-legal. After dinner, Ramsay was spotted speeding off in the luxury vehicle.
Ramsay, who is worth £200 million, boasts an enviable collection of cars, including a Ferrari F355 GTS (£100,000), a Porsche 918 Spyder (£1 million), a Land Rover Defender 110 SVX ‘Spectre’ (£150,000), a LaFerrari Aperta (£2 million), and a BAC Mono (£200,000). The chef is also a regular attendee at Formula 1 events, most recently at the Texas Grand Prix last year.
In March, Ramsay issued a playful yet stern warning to his daughter Holly, 25, after she posted a photo of her new £200,000 cerulean Aston Martin DBX707 on Instagram. “Drive carefully, please,” he commented.
Ramsay’s Saturday outing follows news of his impressive home renovation projects. The Daily Mail reported that he recently sold a south London property for £7.75 million, just a year after purchasing it for £7.5 million. The home served as temporary accommodation while his main family residence underwent upgrades, including a super-basement with a wine store, a full-floor master bedroom, and additional spaces such as a study and boot room.
The chef and his wife, Tana, bought their primary home in 2002 for £2.8 million, and it is now valued at £7 million. The couple has six children, including Holly, who recently announced her engagement to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, 29.
