I purchased a car today from clock garage, and I'm not very happy. The car cost £1,995 but I was treated like it wasn't a worthy sale like that of a more expensive car. They didn't wash it or valet so I didn't get the nice feeling of buying a car. I'm still a customer and it's still a lot of money. It was quite dirty really so i paid for the clean and valet myself elsewhere. There was just one mat on the drivers side floor, when I moved it there's quite a big hole in the carpet. They'd kept all paperwork on the back seat, when I moved that, there's a rip on the seat. I was not told of these, so they were covered. I did test drive and look around, but a mat on the floor, i wouldnt think covered a big hole. One of the tyres is very much on the legal limit, I don't think a reputable dealer should really sell it like that in my opinion. They did try their best to sell me a tyre, and also an oil change. It just felt like they wanted me to spend more with them. I know £1,995 is not a massive sale for them, but its a lot to me and a lot to most people. I dont think that budget should matter to how a customer is treated, or how a car is sold and presented on the day. I can say I'm quite disappointed.
